Information
-----------------------------------------------------------

Control Configuration:
Press 1 or 2 to configure controls for Player 1 or 2, respectively. Joysticks are acceptable. If you press an analog stick or a d-pad while being prompted for directions (up, down, left, right), it will automatically assign all four directions to that stick or pad, and then bring you to the prompt for the jump button.

Movement Controls While Grounded:
-Double-tap Left or Right to dash in that direction. Alternately, "smash" the analog stick left or right.
-When standing on certain platforms, hold down and press Jump to drop down through it

Movement Controls While Airborn:
-Press jump again to double-jump. This can't be done after air dashing.
-Double-tap the direction you are facing to air-dash in that direction. Alternately, "smash" the analog stick left or right. This can't be done after double-jumping.
-Hold both down and jump simultaneously to fall through raised platforms. You won't double jump if you press the jump button while holding down.

Attacking:
Press the Light Attack button to execute an attack. You'll get different attacks if you hold up, down, or forward while pressing the attack button. You'll also get another attack if you hold backward while airborn.

Fighting:
Right now, both players have infinite health. If either falls of the stage, they'll respawn in the center of the stage. So, right now there's no real "win condition." This is merely a taste of things to come.

**Important note**
This is mentioned above, but I'll mention again to reiterate/get the point across: While in the air you can either double jump or air-dash. Only one or the other. You can't do both.

Known Issues
-----------------------------------------------------------

Missing DLL's
--------------
If the game asks you for a dll file, such as MSVCR100.dll. You'll have to download the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package. You can download them here:

32 bit - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555
64 bit - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632

Game won't open
----------------
If after running Homestrife.exe and a black window pops up, then closes soon after. This means that your graphics card is too old or not competent enough to run the game. The minimum requirement to run the game is openGL 2.0. Ther are no plans to make it compatible with anything lower, sorry.
